Régimen hemodinámico de cardiópatas asintomáticos identificado con ecocardiograma

Resumen


Introducción: ver la insuficiencia cardiaca como síndrome clínico retrasa el tratamiento y ensombrece el pronóstico. Cabe preguntar: ¿se podrá diagnosticar tempranamente con la ayuda del ecocardiograma?

Métodos: se hizo una revisión de expedientes de cardiópatas asintomáticos, sin tratamiento y estudiados a partir de ecocardiograma, a fin de medir el gasto cardiaco con resistencias vasculares periféricas totales, para lo cual se empleó tensión arterial media calculada. Se describe el comportamiento hemodinámico con base en la proporción de tres grupos integrados de acuerdo con el comportamiento del gasto cardiaco y las resistencias vasculares.

Resultados: en 200 cardiópatas el régimen hemodinámico fue hipocinético en 36%, hipercinético en 17% y eucinético en 47%.

Conclusión: el estudio hemodinámico no invasivo identificó la insuficiencia cardiaca asintomática en la tercera parte de los casos.
