How to submit a paper

GENERAL FEATURES

When an item has been received and registered at the editorial offices of the journal, it may no longer be subjected to the consideration of other publications (printed or electronic). If authors withdraws their article for possible publication, they must notify their intentions to the editor with a formal communique (revista.medica [at] imss.gob.mx (subject: Desistimiento%20de%20publicaci%C3%B3n%20de%20un%20art%C3%ADculo) ).

The views, opinions, and ideas expressed in the articles, or the provenance and accuracy of citations contained therein, are the authors’ responsibility, and they must also demonstrate the existence of any interests that could influence the results of their work, to which must attach the Declaration of Interests, available on this site web (also retrievable at the bottom right, in the Various Resources Section). Sponsorships, if any, should be specified in the "Acknowledgements" Section of the article.

Once an article is accepted for publication in Revista Médica del IMSS, publishing credits are allocated to the journal by the Transfer rigths to perform the authors. Authors must sign and return the authoring format that will be sent to them by email along with the acceptance letter.

Revista Médica del IMSS allows total or partial reproduction of the articles in any media, print or electronic, responsible for non-profit purposes, provided the appropriate recognition of credits. The authors, meanwhile, retain the intellectual rights to the content.

RECEPTION AND REGISTER OF PAPERS

For Revista Medica del IMSS, the articles must be sent through the automated editorial management system (Open Journal system) provided for it in this site (see the procedure below).

When you send the document, the system will provide you an identification number or ID that is with which you can following the review process.

The author responsible for monitoring the article should make sure to provide a valid an email address current and functional, because the communication is generated regarding your item will be in this way, including the acknowledgment of received and notification of the publishing veredict.

ONLINE SUBMISSION SYSTEM

The authors who submit their articles to review through editorial management system must first register at http://revistamedica.imss.gob.mx/editorial/index.php/revista_medica/user/register. Registration should be performed only the first time a shipment is made; shipments or subsequent queries should use the username and password discharged.
