Abstract

In Mexico, the aging of our population should be considered a priority issue, because there has been an increase of such magnitude, that at the beginning of the 21st century people who were older than 65 did not surpass the five million inhabitants, while the Intercensal Survey 2015 reported that in 2015 there were 12.4 million people over 65 years of age.
