Abstract

On Monday, October 28, 2013, the High Specialty Medical Unit Pediatric Hospital of the National Medical Center Siglo XXI was named after Dr. Silvestre Félix Frenk Freund. Dr. Frenk is, without a doubt, deserving of this honor due to his extraordinary intelligence, academic career, charm, and great human warmth.
