Document Preservation Policy
The Revista Médica del IMSS implements an active document preservation policy to ensure the permanence and accessibility of its scientific content. All accepted and published articles are converted to JATS XML format, in compliance with PubMed Central (PMC) standards. This conversion enables their deposit and interoperability in international repositories, ensuring their long-term preservation.
Additionally, the journal publishes its content on Zenodo, an open access platform managed by CERN and supported by the European Commission, reinforcing its commitment to open science and global accessibility.
