Google Scholar collects citations and academic impact indicators derived from articles, book chapters, and other scholarly documents indexed on its platform. Its main metric reflects the journal’s visibility and citation performance within the international academic ecosystem.

PubMed Central (PMC) is the open-access repository of the U.S. National Library of Medicine. It provides evidence of the journal’s international visibility through the number of full-text article views and downloads.

Dimensions integrates data on publications, citations, co-authorship networks, and normalized indicators such as the Relative Citation Ratio (RCR). These metrics allow for the analysis of the relative influence and citation performance of the journal’s articles within their specific research fields.

Google Analytics provides web usage and audience metrics for the journal’s website, including the number of users, countries of origin, and main access channels. These statistics help evaluate the journal’s digital visibility and reader engagement over time.
