Resumen
La hiperglucemia es un hallazgo frecuente en todo paciente hospitalizado y se considera un factor de riesgo importante por su elevada morbilidad y mortalidad. Se dan a conocer algunos aspectos relevantes para su detección y tratamiento, además de una propuesta educativa multidisciplinaria con metas razonables, alcanzables y seguras.
